Rosina Finister's painting on canvas has a background painted with a blend of earthy light yellows, oranges, and brown, and features two pairs of people and one pair of birds. The members of each pair face each other with black handwritten text next to each pair, indicating that they are talking to one another. Handwritten in black ink across the top center of the page are the words, people get sick at home with COVID-19. In the upper left is a woman standing in a brown doorway and to the left a man standing outside it. The man's body faces towards the viewer. His arms are by his sides and his open mouth shows white teeth as he looks towards the woman. He wears a white t-shirt and blue pants. A word block extending from his open mouth reads, Hey Liz. Another text block beside his left foot says, What are you cooking today? Are you making some of your old back home banana pudding? A last text block has an arrow extending from the doorway above the woman and points to the beginning of a block of text which reads, Get away from my door, Jeff. You're coughing and you are not wearing a mask. The woman, Liz, faces the viewer and is standing with her arms at her sides blocking the doorway, her lips drawn back showing white teeth. She wears a tan sleeveless top and knee-length emerald green skirt. To the right of the doorframe are two men standing and talking together over fences, each fence illustrated with a single fence post. The man on the left has white hair and light skin and rests both hands on top of the fence post. He wears light brown pants and a khaki shirt. The man on the right also has white hair and wears light blue pants and shoes with a white shirt. He has one hand on the fence post and the other in his left pocket. Behind him to the right is a large text block that says, This COVID is really something. We've been working at home for almost two years and I heard that people are getting sick from this virus at home. What's for us to do to avoid this horrible COVID-19 disease? Wear the mask in our bathrooms while taking a shower? Below the men are two birds near the bottom of the canvas. The left bird is orange with black cape-like feathers on its wings and back. It is standing with its head and oval-shaped body upright on one leg. The bird's head is topped with a crest of black feathers. Something black hangs around the bird's neck, perhaps a COVID mask. The bird on the right has an oval-shaped brown body and short tail along with black wings and beak. This bird leans over so that the curve of its beak touches the midsection of the orange bird. A block of text above the brown bird is written on a slant and says, Oh, I'm sorry, we are not supposed to touch. Another text block near the orange bird, also slanted, says, Sorry, I think I missed that one. No touching. A final text block behind the brown bird in the bottom right reads, With all of these new young ones born now, it's gotten to be touching somewhere.
